I took this photo with my Canon 5D Mark III and 100mm Macro lens. It is enhanced a bit with Nik Software. The more photos I take of flowers, I realize that I’m ready for Spring. First day of Spring is March 20, which can’t come too soon for me. If you click on it, you can see a larger version.

I’ve been admiring the Vibram FiveFinger shoes for a while now, but wasn’t sure if they would be comfortable or not. I finally decided to try them. I selected the Bikila ls version since they have the quick-lace system that allows runners with a wider foot or higher instep to comfortably wear them. I’ve worn them for the past several days, and am amazed at how easily I’ve adapted to them. I also bought the Injnji toe socks that work perfectly with them. They are a bit difficult to get on at first, but after several times, it gets easier.

Yellow Macro Flower

I found this flower on my walk today. I used my Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS lens.

Tulip

This is a macro shot of a tulip. Couldn’t get much closer than this!

White and Green Mum

I love mums. There is such a huge variety. This is a macro photo of a white and green mum. I took it with my Canon 100 f/2.8 L IS macro lens and Canon 5D Mark III on a tripod. I love this lens and use it more than any other lens that I have.

Daisy

I took this picture today from a bunch of daisies that I bought at Trader Joe’s. I used a macro lens and edited it slightly with Nik Color Efex Pro 4. You can see a larger version on my Flicker page.
