iPhone 4 Screen
Along with thousands of others, I picked up my iPhone 4 on Thursday, 6/24/10. I could have had it shipped, but I decided to go down to the Apple store in a nearby town. I left home around 5AM and picked up my phone at 8AM. There were around 400 people in line when I got there, and the store is still busy with people trying to get reserved phones that weren’t picked up.

The Lion
I recently read the latest book by Nelson DeMille, The Lion. This book is a sequel to The Lion’s Game published in 2000. Both books follow an FBI Task Force contract agent John Corey and his partner, Kate Mayfield, as they track notorious Libyan terrorist, Asad Khalil, and try to stop him before he kills any more people. Both books are very exciting with fast paced action. I’ve read all of the books by Nelson DeMille, and highly recommend them all.

iPhone 4
Well, WWDC came and went with no mention of new Macs, but the iPhone 4 was introduced by Apple. I plan to pre-order it on June 15th (Tuesday) and pick it up at the Apple store on June 24th. I could have it delivered, but I think it will be more fun to pick it up! I also found that a protective shield can be ordered now from Zagg for the new iPhone, so you can have it ready to apply.

WWDC 2010
The World Wide Developer’s Conference sponsored by Apple is scheduled for this Monday, June 7th, in San Francisco. Hopefully, new iPhones will be announced along with new Mac Pro tower computers. I’ve just sold my Apple tower in anticipation of ordering a new one. I love my little 13″ Mac Book Pro, but I need a desktop to do serious Photoshop work. I’m also looking forward to getting a new iPhone 4G, as my contract with At&T has finally come to an end.
